Outlook OAuth2 Sending: Important Note About Recovery Email Verification
If you are using Outlook accounts for OAuth2 sending with AtomEmailPro, please read the following note before setting up your accounts.
Recovery Email Is Required for OAuth2 Sending
Currently, an Outlook account used for OAuth2 sending must have a recovery email linked to the account.
In some cases, when you log in to an Outlook account, Microsoft may ask you to verify the recovery email associated with the account.
If this verification appears, you will need access to the recovery email in order to complete the login and continue using the account.
What If My Account Asks for Recovery Email Verification?
This depends on the security status of the individual Outlook account.
Some accounts may allow you to log in normally, while others may trigger a recovery email verification during login.
If verification is required, you must have access to the recovery email linked to the account.
This is an Outlook/Microsoft account security verification step and is not controlled by AtomEmailPro.
If You Don't Need Outlook OAuth2 Sending
If you do not need to use Outlook OAuth2 for sending emails, you can also use Outlook accounts without a recovery email linked to them.
AtomEmailPro supports browser-based sending, allowing you to automate email sending directly through the Outlook web interface.
This means you can use the Outlook webmail sending method in AtomEmailPro without setting up Outlook OAuth2.

Important Notes
- Outlook accounts used for OAuth2 sending must have a recovery email linked.
- If Microsoft asks for recovery email verification during login, access to that recovery email is required.
- Not every account will necessarily trigger the verification.
- Recovery email verification is handled by Microsoft's account security system, not AtomEmailPro.
- If you do not need OAuth2 sending, you can use Outlook accounts without a recovery email and use AtomEmailPro's browser-based sending method instead.
