Purpose of an App Password

To send SMTP emails using a Gmail account, you need to ensure that IMAP and POP3 are enabled. Here’s how to enable them and understand their purpose:

1. Regular Gmail accounts:
Daily sending limit: 500 emails (includes each message sent and each CC/BCC recipient)
Maximum number of recipients per message: 100 (includes To, CC, and BCC)
G Suite (Google Workspace) accounts:
Daily sending limit: 2,000 emails (includes each message sent and each CC/BCC recipient)
Maximum number of recipients per message: 2,000 (includes To, CC, and BCC)
Sending rate limit:
Maximum 10-20 messages per minute (this limit helps prevent abuse and avoid being marked as spam)

2. Regular Outlook.com accounts:
Daily sending limit: 300 emails (includes each message sent and each CC/BCC recipient)
Maximum number of recipients per message: 100 (includes To, CC, and BCC)
Office 365 or Microsoft 365 accounts:
Daily sending limit: 10,000 emails (includes each message sent and each CC/BCC recipient)
Maximum number of recipients per message: 500 (includes To, CC, and BCC)
Sending rate limits:
Per minute: Up to 30 messages (limits may vary depending on account and activity patterns)

3. Regular Yahoo Mail accounts:
Daily sending limit: 500 emails (includes every message sent and every CC/BCC recipient)
Maximum number of recipients per message: 100 (includes "To," "CC," and "BCC")
Yahoo Mail Pro accounts:
Daily sending limit: roughly the same, usually around 500 messages (specific limits may be adjusted)
Maximum number of recipients per message: 100 (includes "To," "CC," and "BCC")
Sending rate limit:
Yahoo Mail also has a limit on the sending rate per hour, and usually the amount sent per hour is limited to prevent abuse.

4. Regular Mail.com accounts:
Daily sending limit: Approximately 500 emails (includes each message sent and each CC/BCC recipient)
Maximum number of recipients per message: 100 (includes "To", "CC", and "BCC")
Sending rate limits:
Mail.com also limits the amount you can send per hour to prevent abuse, and the specific limits may vary depending on account type and usage.

5. Regular Mail.ru accounts:
Daily sending limit: Approximately 300 emails (including each recipient of each message and CC/BCC)
Maximum number of recipients per message: 50 (including "To", "CC" and "BCC")
Sending rate limits:
Mail.ru also limits the number and frequency of messages you can send per hour to prevent abuse. These limits may vary depending on account type and activity patterns.

6.Regular Yandex Mail accounts:
Daily sending limit: Approximately 500 emails (including each message and each CC/BCC recipient)
Maximum number of recipients per message: 50-100 (including "To", "CC", and "BCC")
Sending rate limits:
Yandex Mail also limits the amount of sending per hour to prevent abuse and spam. The specific limits vary depending on the usage and activity patterns of the account.

7.Rambler.ru has the following limits for sending emails:
Daily sending limit: up to 200 emails per day.
Hourly sending limit: up to 50 emails per hour.
Exceeding these limits may result in a temporary account block, usually for 24 hours. To avoid this, plan your email sending schedule appropriately and make sure to stay within these limits.

8. WEB.DE Mail Service has the following limits on sending emails:
Daily sending limit: Each account can send up to 500 emails per day.
Hourly sending limit: Each account can send up to 100 emails per hour.
Single sending limit: Each email can have up to 50 recipients.
These limits are to prevent spam and protect the security of user accounts and the quality of service. If you need to send more emails, consider sending them in batches or contact WEB.DE customer service to request a limit increase.

9. GMX.net email accounts have the following outgoing email limits:
Daily Limit: GMX.net free accounts can send up to 50 emails per day.
Single Message Recipient Limit: Each message can have up to 50 recipients.
Attachment Size: The maximum size of a single attachment is 50MB.
Priority Mail: You can set your emails to high priority, but this will not affect the sending speed.
It is important to note that GMX.net accounts have additional limits to prevent spam. If your emails are marked as spam or your sending behavior is considered abnormal, your account may be temporarily restricted or blocked.
